Consistency
Keep on moving forward without change to the original.
Consistency:
conformity in the application of something, typically that which is necessary for the sake of logic, accuracy, or fairness. the achievement of a level of performance that does not vary greatly in quality over time.
Staying true to the course.
There are several instances in the Bible I want to note when it comes to the conversation regarding, consistency.
In our world, today consistency makes you reliable. It makes way for greater achievement over time. Consistency starts off lacking but with a goal, it is made fervent.
Consistency requires more than just repeated action. It needs to be backed by something of greater potency. In the spiritual realm, we have faith and divine purpose. In the natural world, we have money and fame. A desire to reach something is normally the universal cause for all consistent action.
Consistency is a measurable variable of focused commitment.
The Bible commands us to be consistent in prayer. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-pray without ceasing.
The Bible reminds us that Jesus is consistent by reminding us repeatedly about how he will never leave or forsake us. Isaiah 41:10
This brought my mind to this conclusion. We need to be reminded occasionally why we even are doing What we’re doing. God remains consistent because he loves us.
The Bible warns us about our living saying in Galatians 5:25- for we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.
This verse along with the preliminary verses is letting us know that we can’t be wavering in and out of true spiritual living and worldly living.
We must be consistent in our praise, prayers, and overall faith. We in the end should be able to say Romans 8:31- what shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Confidence is bred through consistent thought, effort, and commitment. Admittedly it’s not easy but that is the very thing that adds value to consistency… will you keep going or give up when things get hard?
There’s been a scripture on my mind all day and It reminds me of how significant it is to walk intentionally with God.
Philippians 1:21- for me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
I just wanted to share a short study with you guys nothing special but to leave a short message...Don't give up too soon! It's not over yet.
